Invalid MIC due to OTAA keys mismatch?

Hello,
sorry I’ve always used ABP as activation mode, but now I need to configure OTAA one.

I run ChirpStack Network Server 3.4.1, I’ve created a device profile with OTAA activation mode.
I’ve added a device linked to that device profile and set the application key as:

and I’ve set the same application key on the device.

The logs show the classic error
join-request to join-server error: response error, code: MICFailed, description: invalid mic

Did I miss something? Where do I add the JoinEUI in ChirpStack Application Server GUI?

Thank you

Please help.
Thank you!

A MIC error is caused by:

  • An invalid AppKey
  • When the wrong MAC version has been selected in the device-profile (LoRaWAN 1.0.x vs LoRaWAN 1.1.x)

There is no need to configure the JoinEUI in ChirpStack.
