From the release notes on 2.2.0:
Battery status
LoRa Server now sends the battery-level as a percentage to the application-server. The battery field ( 0...255 ) will be removed in the next major release.

Two questions:

  1. How does this relate to the deviceStatusBattery field?
  2. How will the indication of “device unable to report battery level” and “device is externally powered” be handled?

Note that the on-line docs still refer to deviceStatusBattery as 0…255.
