Concentratord stuck at "Initializing" or "Execution Failed | Does not Exist"

Hello!

I am using the Chirpstack OS on a Raspberry pi 4 with a WM1302 LoRaWAN gateway module from seeed studio. All services (network server, gateway bridge, and application server) display an OK status, except for the concentratord. I selected the LoRa concentrator shield to be the Semtech SX1302 CoreCell from the shield list because the WM1302 is based on that chip. I already configured all frequencies and channels for the US915 configuration. I had added a gateway profile in the app server under “Gateway-profiles”, but after some reading on other user’s similar issues I deleted the profile and just left the gateway config under “Gateways” to avoid any connection issues between the app server and the concentratord daemon. I am not able to see the Gateway ID (displays “not configured”) although I already added it to the Concentratord Config file and made sure it matched with the gateway config on the ChirpStack Application Server.

I also changed the reset pins as specified on here https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/WM1302_module/

Does anyone know what could be the issue and how I could solve this? I would really appreciate your help and input.

Probably best would be to create a feature-request here: https://github.com/chirpstack/chirpstack-concentratord requesting support for this shield. It might work using one of the existing gateway-config options, but the reset-pin options must match (both reset as power pin).

As well it seems that the shield can operate both in SPI as USB mode (in the latter case you might need to flash the MCU).

All this configuration I’m trying to capture in the Concentratord so please create a feature-request so that I can look into this and add the required config

Just to let you know that I received a WM1302 module so that I can test this too. Still I would recommend you to create a GitHub issue for this, to make this trackable.

I got the WM1302 working by selecting the RAK2287 in gateway-config. I haven’t added any nodes yet, but monit summary and the gateway page of the web interface both look good.
