Creating a device profile template requites Id as input?

Hi,

Curious as to why creating a device profile template required the Id as an input value - in all the other cases of creating a object the ID s generated by the system.

Is there some convention for IDs hat we should follow when creating out own templates ?

The reason is that there is an import command for the TTN device repository. Having a non-random (on create) identifier makes it easier to know if a record must be updated or created.
