Filtering by JoinEUI with LoRaWAN 1.0.0(A) Devices?

Hello everyone !

Sorry for the disturbance, I just have a question regarding the filtering function of the Chirpstack Gateway Bridge :

I am trying to block a LoRaWAN 1.0.0 device using a Multitech Gateway, by filtering by JoinEUI (AppEUI in LoRaWAN 1.0)
My Packet Forwarder and Gateway Bridge (LoRa Gateway Bridge 3.3.0) are installed, configured and running, but the device continues to communicate with my server (the last version of the Chirpstack Server) like it does not care about the filters.

Can the JoinEUI filter work with LoRaWAN 1.0 AppEUIs ?
Are the values you’re adding to the config file the range of addresses you want to authorize or the one you want to reject ?
And should the “server” value in “Generir MQTT Authentication” be the one of my Chirpstack server or my local gateway ?

Thank you very, very much for your answers.
Have a nice day !
Kind regards,

Etienne

It only filters OTAA requests, as that is the only payload containing the AppEUI / JoinEUI (same field, different name).

Uplink data message must be filtered by NetID.

Oooooh, okay, now I understand, thank you very much for your answer !
So, if I am using a private LoRaWAN Network, my “only” solution would be to configure the filter so it only allows NetIDs 000000 and 000001, is that it ?
