Gateway online but no sensor data

Hello community,

I use several Dragino gateways type LG308 and LPS8N. Yesterday I attempted the Mqtt Forwarder installation. The guides “Mosquitto TLS Configuration” and “Mqtt-Forwarder” were very helpful, so the Mqtt Forwarder runs over TLS on port 8883.
But the Chirpstack server only shows the gateway online, but I don’t get any sensor data via the same gateway?

Any idea why this is?

A few questions:

  1. Are you getting any errors or warnings in the logs?
  2. What frequency plan are you using? Have you set the MQTT Forwarder topic-prefix as such?
  3. Often screenshots are the quickest way to debug, can you share your logs and a device profile?

Hello,

I solved the problem earlier: I had set json=true, so it didn’t work. With json=false i.e. protobuf the sensor data comes in again.

You have to tell us you changed the json=true/false next time.

This is not a guessing challenge.

That’s not what it was meant to be. So far I have always been able to use both settings… at least with the Gateway Bridge and so far I have always received sensor data as soon as a gateway was online.
