after updating from version old version to the newest version of gateway OS via the local host, uploading the backup image breaks the gateway
after running the command to restore from backup port 8080,1880,1883 all get locked up and when i try to access them i get connection refused
also tried to run a restore from backup after factory reset to see if only the its just a version thing but seems like the configuration restore is broken
im running the gateway on RPI3B+ with RAK5146
From which to which version is this related?
Have you checked the server logs?
not clear how, i can give you the backup images if you can extract the version from there
i also made another backup with the current version and tried to use it to restore the settings after factory reset and it still broke the configs
by breaking i mean that 8080 and 1880 were refused for connections and couldnt access webserver and stuff
See my related post on “ChirpStack Gateway OS with RAK2287 fails”. I experienced the same symptoms. It appears that the PostgresSQL database is not starting up after an upgrade and configuration restore.
