I accidentally deleted the device and re-added it. but I am getting this error.

fully depends from endnode. read endnode manual how to switch it in this mode.

just re-create device in chirpstack and re-join your endnode also.

I say that again, re-join it.

If you are you able to cycle power to sensor, this may be only way b/c not all firmware can handle it otherwise. If your sensor allows setting device to factory settings (which usually reflashes firmware) then you can try this as last resort (just save parameters like keys first, if applicable).

I managed to get the joinrequest but why won’t the server answer join accept

Many things can cause this - you’ll need to dig and figure out which applies to your specific case. Use search function in forum and look for “join request” and/or “join accept”. For example.
