Optimal chirpstack configuration

Hello everyone,

I need to size a solution with 400 gateways and about 30,000 devices, transmitting every 6 hours, so 180,000 messages a day.

The gateways are Kerlink using “ChirpStack MQTT Forwarder”.

What configuration do you suggest based on your experiences?

180.000 messages a day is ~ 2 messages per second. That is not so much and shouldn’t require a very powerful machine. You can do some testing using GitHub - brocaar/chirpstack-simulator: Simulator utility for the ChirpStack open-source LoRaWAN Network-Server. to test different setups :slight_smile:
