Hi,
Since Cisco is no longer doing LoRaWan what LoRaWan gateways are recommended to use with Chirpstack?
I need one that will work well with Chirpstack V4 and is relatively easy to configure and supports AU915.
Thanks.

If you are looking for easiest to configure and integration with Chirpstack I would suggest RAKWireless (https://store.rakwireless.com/collections/wisgate-edge. Their default web UI for setting up the gateway is very straight forward, or you can use the ChirpStack Gateway OS for some extra functionality.
But I’ve used multiple gateways vendors with Chirpstack and never had any issues (RakWireless, Browan, Tektelic, Raspberry pi, and even custom built) with normal LoRa functionality (if you are trying to use gateway mesh your mileage will vary). But of those the WisGate’s have the cleanest web UI for setup.
If you’re willing to spend some coin, we’ve been using Multitech IP67 gateways and have no complaints. Easy UI, good logging, ability to download your own packages onto it. It’s also pretty easy to download the gateway bridge onto.
Thanks guys,
I will keep this in mind for later down the line for when I will need additional hardware.
I use Wifx L1 gateways with success. There is now a 4G version which I have not tested yet.
Passerelle Wifx L1 - LoRaWAN - Wifx IoT
One key factor during the decision was the neighbourhood but it works technically well:D
We’ve been using Tektelic Macro Gateways, currently have three that are on roofs throughout our campus. They have been reliable and customer support has been excellent!
They have 4G version now, nice! Been using them for years (from Lorix One)
Looking at getting this gateway
Anyone able to confirm that it’s well supported by Chirpstack before I make the purchase.
Thanks.
