Dear Community,
I have updated my PI4 Full Image from 4.3.2 to 4.4.0 but ChripStack has lost the capability to detect the gateway. I have a PG1302 hat.
On 4.3.2 I have configured concentratord, added the Gateway ID to Chirpstack and the Gateway was detected almost instantly. On 4.4.0, even with a fresh install on an unused SD card, that process fails. The Gateway remains “never seen”.
On 4.4.0 logread prints:
chirpstack-concentratord-sx1302[3271]: Publishing stats event, rx_received: 0, rx_received_ok: 0, tx_received: 0, tx_emitted: 0
but this message is not followed by the MQTT publish log event.
The MQTT forwarder must be set to enabled. The documentation is misleading here, stating: “After upgrading, you must enable the services you would like to use.”
It looks like concentratord communicates with chirpstack via MQTT only?
I suggest, required services are enabled by default. Wouldn’t you agree?
Regards Luke
