That’s great! For the Sensecap M2 gateway, is the image the full one including the network server? If not - apologies for the question as I have never used OpenWRT - is it possible to install the LNS?

Currently running the included Chirpstack v4 on the stock firmware on the M2 gateway and it works pretty well.

The Sensecap M2 image does not contain ChirpStack, as it has not enough memory.

v4.7.1

  • Update ChirpStack to v4.12.0.
  • Update ChirpStack Concentratord to v4.4.8.
  • Update ChirpStack MQTT Forwarder to v4.3.2.
  • Update ChirpStack UDP Forwarder to v4.1.10.
  • Update Node-RED to v3.1.15.
  • Update OpenWrt to v24.10.1.

Improvements

  • Seeed SenseCAP M2: Fix Wi-Fi mac address (to be consistent with package label).

That’s great @brocaar.
Could you just confirm me that the reason you did not add chirpstack and nodered to the RAK7289V2 / RAK7240CV2 is also related to insufficent memory?
I observed these gateways rely on the same basic hardware than the Seeed SenseCAP.
Thanks a lot,

Hi! I just flash the chirpstack os 4.7.1 to my sensecapm m2 4g and it noticed it’s the base image. No LNS or node-red in it. Did you had luck installing the LNS and node-red?
