Isn’t Valkey a fork of Redis? In that case no work should be required for compatibility I believe as the protocol remains the same.

Isn’t it possible that the protocols deviate from each other in the future? Because of the license change we and possibly many other companies using Chirpstack have to switch to Valkey.
They might deviate in the future, but until then it should be a drop-in replacement.
What will change is how Redis and Valkey are distributed by Linux distributions. At some point when Redis is removed from the Linux repositories and Valkey is added we should update the docs.
