I’ve been interested in this solution for our site, we have the Kona Macro and Kona Micro Gateways.
I believe these gateways use SX1301, would it be possible to install and use gateway mesh on my gateways.
I want my three Kona Macros to be border gateways and the Kona Micros to be relay gateways when they aren’t connected to the network, that way I have some redundancy.
Unfortunately the Gateway Mesh is currently only compatible with RAK and Raspberry Pi / Chirpstack OS gateways.
It will work on more gateways, as the only requirement is that you can run the Concentratord on the gateway. With some additional work, this works too on Kerlink and Multitech gateways for example.
However, if I remember correctly, Tektelic has frequency filters on the rx and tx paths which do not overlap in case of US915 (as uplink frequencies do not overlap with downlink frequencies). This might be something to confirm if you are using US915.
