Trying to wrap my head around LoRa Geolocation

Hello,

I have a client that has installed multiple LoraWAN gateways that are capable of geolocation. I want to start using this capability with the existing installation of loraserver software on their server. The docs frequently mention the need for a backend called Semtech Collos. Do I need this additional software in addition to the LoRa Geo Server to make Lora geolocalisation work?

Yes, LoRa Geo Server is just and interface to geolocation backends (currently just Collos, but soon I’ll add the loracloud.com geolocation service too).
