I’m currently working on connecting a UG65 gateway to ChirpStack. While the gateway shows as online and the devices successfully receive a Join Accept, I’m not receiving any uplink data. I’ve noticed that in the gateway frames, the messages are categorized as unconfirmed data up. Has anyone experienced this issue or have any suggestions for troubleshooting?
The “unconfirmed data up” simply means that the packet is an uplink that is not expecting a downlink to follow for confirmation.
Considering you are seeing those though you should be receiving the data, as join requests/accepts are labeled as such in the gateway frames, and only once a device is joined will it start sending uplinks.
If you look at the “events” tab in the device’s page is it only showing “join-accepts” and no uplinks? Sharing a screenshot of the events tab could help. Also you can check your chirpstack logs to see if the uplinks are causing any errors.
