Hello,
I am running a Windows machine with an instance of Chirpstack version 3.5.
I need to upgrade it to the newest module versions but can’t find any information of whether doing a simple update will mess anything up.
Is it safe to upgrade to the newest module versions, or are there any changes I need to keep in mind?
Hello brocaar,
I see now that I was not very clear on my intentions.
I need to upgrade to the latest v3 version. Right now, when I’m doing this, everything seems fine, but I also have to update Redis to v5, and even though this also seems to be going just fine, all of my OTAA devices seem to switch to inactive and try to rejoin.
I’ve copied the dump.db file over as to retain the sessions for the OTAA devices, but this does not seem to work, and I am getting “session does not exist” error in the logs.
Is there anything I’m doing wrong?
