USB modem support on GatewayOS

Hello,

I would like to add USB modem (Huawei E3372) to the RPI gateway. I see old post that modules are not included in the build > E3372 LTE stick on Gateway OS

I wonder if this is still the case for the recent GW images?

I understand that it can be also done by compiling a new image from GitHub - chirpstack/chirpstack-gateway-os: OpenWrt based gateway images including ChirpStack components.

I did not try, no time and not enough knowledge about linux and openwrt, in theory you could you add the good package and then install openwrt on the raspberry, run docker with chirpstack components.
If you can it, I would greatful to try it :slight_smile:
