I have problems with Watteco NetW’o. The device joins Chirpstack. Whe I hit the testbutton on the device, a message is sent. I can see a unconfirmed data up, but never a datadown. The device is operational, I tested it on a local chirpstack with the same gateway. Did anyone have the same issue. May the serverload be to high?
If the device can join the network without issues, there probably isn’t a problem with receiving downlinks.
If it sends an unconfirmed uplink, there is no reason to expect a downlink. There will be no downlinks without any reason. There may be downlinks sent by Chirpstack to configure the device at the LoRaWAN MAC level, but this lower-level messaging is not relevant to the application.
Thank you for your answer. Someone changed config in Chirpstack. Now it works fine again. We changed it to false again.
